The West’s Decline is Underway

by Mark on March 2, 2011 10:54 am · Comments/Link

“Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder,” wrote British historian Arnold Toynbee in the middle of the 20th Century. At this time it appears that Western civilization no longer has the strength, desire and willingness to stand up to its external enemies and especially to face liberal leftist elements within it that do everything in their power to render it powerless.

Well said, Mr. Rosenfeld. Well said. If you agree, read the rest here.

San Diego Official Admits WMD’s Have Been Found

by Mark on February 15, 2011 12:08 pm · Comments/Link

If you haven’t seen this stunning interview yet, where the Assistant Director of the Port of San Diego slips up and admits they’ve found “Weapons of “Mass Effect,” watch it now. A public affairs official interrupted the officer during the interview saying they would provide more information later, but the Department of Homeland Security, responding 23 days later, said the officer was “confused” and “nervous.”

Right, just like that mysterious missile launch off the coast of California last November was just a jet contrail. Uh Huh.

WMD’s Discovered in the Port of San Diego?

by Mark on February 14, 2011 15:40 pm · Comments/Link

Local TV station Channel 10 in San Diego was interviewing the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the Port of San Diego, when this amazing conversation took place:

Blacher: “So, specifically, you’re looking for the dirty bomb? You’re looking for the nuclear device?”
Hallor: “Correct. Weapons of mass effect.”
Blacher: “You ever found one?”
Hallor: “Not at this location.”
Blacher: “But they have found them?”
Hallor: “Yes.”
Blacher: “You never found one in San Diego though?”
Hallor: “I would say at the port of San Diego we have not.”
Blacher: “Have you found one in San Diego?”

The interview was interrupted before Hallor was able to answer the question.

I’ll bet it was interrupted, and quick. You can read more about it here and here and all these here.

It’s Starting to Feel Like 1984

Is it just me or is this getting a bit Orwellian? Hey, I’m all for us all looking out for one another, in regards to terrorism, but Big Sis Janet Napolitano and her army of Homeland Security agents scare the hell out of me.

BIG SIS INVADES WAL-MART: ‘IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING’

janet napolitanoWASHINGTON — Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano today announced the expansion of the Department’s national “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign to hundreds of Walmart stores across the country—launching a new partnership between DHS and Walmart to help the American public play an active role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation.

“Homeland security starts with hometown security, and each of us plays a critical role in keeping our country and communities safe,” said Secretary Napolitano. “I applaud Walmart for joining the ‘If You See Something, Say Something’ campaign. This partnership will help millions of shoppers across the nation identify and report indicators of terrorism, crime and other threats to law enforcement authorities.”

The “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign—originally implemented by New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority and funded, in part, by $13 million from DHS’ Transit Security Grant Program—is a simple and effective program to engage the public and key frontline employees to identify and report indicators of terrorism, crime and other threats to the proper transportation and law enforcement authorities.

More than 230 Walmart stores nationwide launched the “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign today, with a total of 588 Walmart stores in 27 states joining in the coming weeks. A short video message, available here, will play at select checkout locations to remind shoppers to contact local law enforcement to report suspicious activity.

Over the past five months, DHS has worked with its federal, state, local and private sector partners, as well as the Department of Justice, to expand the “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign and Nationwide SAR Initiative to communities throughout the country—including the recent state-wide expansions of the “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign across Minnesota and New Jersey. Partners include the Mall of America, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Amtrak, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, sports and general aviation industries, and state and local fusion centers across the country.

In the coming months, the Department will continue to expand the “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign nationally with public education materials and outreach tools designed to help America’s businesses, communities and citizens remain vigilant and play an active role in keeping the county safe.

Freedom lost as TSA body-checks 3 year-old girl

by Mark on November 14, 2010 18:06 pm · Comments/Link

Fears of economic collapse and fears of terrorism lead to tyranny by those in power. Nothing illustrates the abuse of federal power more than the insanity shown in this video of a three year old little girl being body searched by TSA personnel at an airport security checkpoint.

How many burka-clad women pass through unchecked for every child or 90 year old woman pulled aside?
